Tips for Managing Usage

Prioritize Your Scans

  • Development phase: Use Quick scans (fewer scanners)
  • Pre-deployment: Use Deep scans (all scanners)
  • Routine checks: Use Standard scans

Avoid Redundant Scans

  • Don't re-scan unchanged contracts
  • Use scan comparison to see differences
  • Scan only modified files in a project

Use Projects Efficiently

  • Group related contracts into projects
  • Scan projects, not individual files
  • One project scan = one credit (regardless of file count)

Monitor Team Usage

On team plans:

  • View usage by team member
  • Set per-user guidelines
  • Identify usage patterns

Usage for Team Plans

Per-User Visibility

Admins can see:

  • Total team usage

Setting Guidelines

Consider establishing:

  • Scan approval workflows for high-cost scans

  • Annual plans: Same day each month (based on start date)
