Get your first security scan running in 5 minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Go to app.blocksecops.com and click Sign Up.

Choose your preferred sign-up method:

Method Best For
Email Traditional account with password
Google Quick OAuth sign-up
GitHub Developers with GitHub accounts
Ethereum Wallet EVM users (MetaMask, WalletConnect)
Solana Wallet Solana users (Phantom, Solflare)

Step 2: Upload Your Contract

From the dashboard:

  1. Click New Scan or drag a file into the upload area
  2. Select your contract file (.sol, .vy, or .rs)
  3. For projects with multiple files, upload a ZIP archive

Supported formats:

  • Single files: .sol, .vy, .rs
  • Archives: .zip, .tar, .tar.gz
  • Frameworks: Foundry, Hardhat projects

Step 3: Select Scanners

Choose a scan profile based on your needs:

Profile Scanners Time Best For
Quick 3-4 ~1 min Fast feedback during development
Standard 7-8 ~3 min Regular security checks
Deep All 17+ ~10 min Pre-audit comprehensive analysis

You can also select individual scanners manually.

Step 4: Run the Scan

  1. Click Start Scan
  2. Watch real-time progress as each scanner completes
  3. Results appear automatically when finished

Typical scan times:

  • Quick scan: 30 seconds - 2 minutes
  • Standard scan: 2-5 minutes
  • Deep scan: 5-15 minutes

Step 5: Review Results

Your scan results show:

  • Summary: Total vulnerabilities by severity
  • Findings List: Each vulnerability with details
  • Code Context: Relevant source code snippets
  • Recommendations: How to fix each issue

Vulnerabilities are categorized by severity:

Severity Description Action
Critical Immediate exploit risk Fix before deployment
High Serious security concern Fix in current sprint
Medium Moderate risk Plan to address
Low Minor issues Consider addressing
