Creating Organizations
Set up an organization to enable team collaboration.
What Is an Organization?
An organization is a shared workspace where:
- Multiple users collaborate
- Projects are shared
- Billing is centralized
- Access is controlled
Prerequisites
To create an organization, you need:
- A Startup plan or higher
- Account owner permissions
Creating Your Organization
Step 1: Access Organization Settings
- Click your profile (top right)
- Select Organization
- Click Create Organization
Step 2: Enter Details

| Slug | URL-friendly identifier |
| Logo | Optional organization logo |
Step 3: Confirm
- Review details
- Click Create Organization
- You're now the organization owner

Organization Roles
When you create an organization, you become the Owner.

|---|---|
| Owner | Full control, can delete org |
| Admin | Manage members, settings |
| Member | Use features, can't manage |

After Creation
Invite Members
Add your team:
- Go to Organization → Members
- Click Invite
- Enter email addresses
- Select role
- Send invites
Create Teams
Organize members into teams:
- Go to Organization → Teams
- Click Create Team
- Name the team
- Add members
Share Projects
Give teams access:
- Go to project settings
- Click Share
- Select team
- Set permission level
Organization URL
Your organization gets a unique URL:
app.blocksecops.com/org/your-slug
Members access the organization through this URL.
Multiple Organizations
Standard Plans
One organization per account.
Enterprise Plans
Multiple organizations available:
- Separate billing
- Separate members
- Useful for agencies
Switching Organizations
If you have access to multiple:
- Click organization name (top left)
- Select different organization
- Context switches
Transferring Ownership
To Another Member
- Go to Organization → Settings
- Click Transfer Ownership
- Select new owner
- Confirm transfer
Requirements
- New owner must be an Admin
- You become an Admin after transfer
- Cannot be undone without new owner
Deleting an Organization
Warning
Deleting an organization:
- Removes all members
- Deletes all projects
- Cancels subscription
- Cannot be undone
How to Delete
- Go to Organization → Settings
- Scroll to Danger Zone
- Click Delete Organization
- Type organization name to confirm
- Click Delete

Q: Can I rename my organization?
A: Yes. Go to Organization → Settings → General.
Q: What happens to my personal projects?
A: Personal projects remain separate from organization projects.
Q: Can I convert personal account to organization?
A: Yes. Create an organization and transfer projects.
Q: Is there a free organization tier?
A: No. Organizations require Startup plan or higher.
